The Math/Science Origami Crane Project started with an ambitious goal: make and display 1,000 origami cranes in the M/S wing of the school. It took a concerted effort from students and faculty throughout the entire school. Success was never guaranteed. Then, yesterday, it happened.

Here's the text of Ms. Overton's congratulatory email to the school:

We did it!!!! Today we reached our goal of hanging 1000 cranes!! I am so so amazed by the support from so many of you on this crane journey. So many of you have told me how this has become a Zen activity for you and I am so glad this project has given you that!
I hope in the future we can continue doing origami projects as they are true pieces of Mathematical art! I have attached a video of our hallway but would love it if you all took a moment to come see how full and bright the math hallway feels now that we are decorated in cranes.
The next task is the wish! I want to get everyone involved somehow and am open to hearing ideas from you guys about how we can do this. I wanted it to be a full community effort. Meaning we come together as a whole to dedicate a wish for our community! This being my first year I know I may be overly ambitious at times so any help is appreciated.
 Need:
A way we can dedicate a wish to our school!
Again thank you all so much for your support this past month and please come by to check it out in person!
